Jennifer Strauss graduated from the Culinary School of Kendall College in Chicago, Illinois.
She moved to Iowa to start a Personal Chef Service.
Different from her vast experiences in BIG CHICAGO catering-personal chef services allow Jennifer to tailor each menu according to the event. A conscious effort is made to remain a small, detail oriented company. Jennifer's educational background and training is rooted in traditional flavors - but plates and buffets are garnished with artistic style to provide a contemporary look. The freshest seasonal ingredients are used to provide unique twists on old favorites and international travels provide inspiration for new dishes.
Since moving to Iowa, Sans Souci has worked to gain a solid foundation of clientele. We have catered events at the Salisbury House, Jordan Creek Town Center, Gray's Lake and Raccoon River Park. We enthusiastically participate in cooking competitions. We were thrilled to recieve first and second place in the Iowa Taste of Elegance. Over the past two years we have partnered with the Hotel Patee in Perry, Iowa to execute corporate team building events. Most recently, we have joined the Bolton and Hay family where we perform cooking classes and demonstrations.
