Set the alarms. It's Farmers Market season again!

Yes, it is that time of year already. The Downtown Farmers' Market started on Saturday, May 1st. Join us again every week in June, July, August and September. Come and enjoy one of the best things Des Moines has to offer and get some cupcakes while you are there. See - you can have your cake and eat it too.

Check out the new weekly and daily flavors for the summer.

We are always hearing that you want to try new flavors so we've really changed up the selection of flavors this summer. Not only did we change the weekly flavors, but we changed the daily flavors too. Can't find your favorite? You can still order any cupcake flavor, you just need to order a minimum of a dozen for that flavor. So have fun trying out the different cupcakes. Who knows... you may even discover a new favorite.

We have a new Sweet Treat Feature for you...

We've started a new feature for those of you who want something to go with your cupcakes. On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, we will have something from our "bake sale" line available as well. What are "bake sale" items? They are cookies, brownies, and bars. All the fun items you typically find at local bake sales but with our own special twist of course. For example, our lemon bars are made with lemoncello and our rice krispie treats have browned butter and sea salt in them.

The Carefree Patisserie shirts are in!

Get your cupcake on. Our friends at Urban-Posture have designed and created t-shirts for our Carefree Patisserie customers to purchase. We have a variety of sizes available, so stop by and pick one up to show your cake spirit.

We've set up a Facebook Fan Page under the profile Carefree Patisserie. On it, you can view the latest cakes and specialty cupcakes we've created. We want you to participate too by adding your own pictures. Show us your little one enjoying their first taste of cake. Or post a picture of you smashing your wedding cake into your new husband's face. We would love to see the ways you enjoy our creations and pictures of your special days.
